Reduce my £38 phone & broadband costs!

I knew that my Bulldog broadband package was dear at £27 but I hadn't really ever taken into account that with my bt line rental of £11 that's actually £38 pm! Add the pennies and it's probably closer to £40.

So as I'm forever looking to reduce my out goings I thought I'd look into it. The best deal seems to be talk-talk with line rental, broadband and free calls for £16'ish. That's a saving of over £20pm. Thing is I haven't heard very good things about talktalk. Are they ok? Does anyone else offer a similar package?

Thing is with Tiscali, and talktalk packages which are 20 pounds for everything inclusive, many people have problems, the stats show it, but there are some people who don't have a problem, for example like myself with Tiscali. I'd say its the worth the risk with going with one of these, but as many would say on this and other forums, stay away from them as if you have problems they seem to persist and a real hassle to rectify.

Why are you paying BT for line rental if you have Bulldog?

They can't offer line rental to me in my area apparently. It was supposed to be made available sometime soon but never was, so I'm off
