Well looks like I should expect payment in the next few weeks, got a letter from CO and advised a new calculation would be sent to the CMC, although it seems that my letter has been the one to progress the claim.

I've got success from them with not too much input with previous, bu this time I do grudge paying them, wish I hadn't signed the form after the bank had confirmed a recalculation was being made, as I honestly feel I've done far more than them in getting stuff moving, but hey-ho!

Too late for you, but hopefully others reading will realise that using a Claims Company gives no advantage over complaining alone and costs a whole lot more!

Not surprising really. That's the whole business model of claims companies.

    True.

Although I could have had a bit more, I'm not overly fussed, most especially with the earlier stuff, just this one a bit of a bug, but apart from a bit of a wait, I'm not going to grumble overall. :)

Got a few letters from Capital One, did get a response too from the letter sent in addition to the Chief UK contact (although not directly from him).

Seems a cheque was sent to CMC on 12th January, not heard a peep after 3 weeks still.

Going to write a letter back to them for an update as CO said they can cancel and reissue.
