Yes 160, that is why i am using it.  A stretch mark is a scar just the same as a surgical scar.  I have been using it on my operation scar.  I saw the doc last week and he commented on how good its looking.  He has assured me that by this time next year you wont notice it!!  I am going to hold him to it!!

edited cause i cant spell ;D

Bio Oil is excellent for scars, stretch marks, blemishes. I got it in Tescos - they had to order it in but only took a day and the chemist said that they are getting someone in every day asking for it. I use it in the bath too

wheatgerm oil is reduced in boots to half price to clear, (well is in my local one anyway) got two lots. ;D
  • Your best bet is to moisturise your skin from the inside- so, drink plenty of water from the onset.
I am pg for the second time and didn't get any with my first baby.
I used aquaous cream in the shower and then smothered myself with palmers cocoa butter.

    Good luck

Congratulations! I used Palmers Cocoa Butter until my hubby got sick of the smell (said it smelt like ice cream) and religiously rubbed it in my bum, boobs, thighs and tummy. I then changed to Body Shop Vitamin E lotion which smelt lovely and was very good. I didn't get any stretch marks and I got them as a teenager from growing quickly, so maybe there is something in it - I also put on 2.5 stone, so was no small pregnant woman! I have heard about vitamin E/wheatgerm oil being good for scar tissue. Healthspan is a good source of competitively priced vitamins, which are sent in the post, tax and postage free from Guernsey, and I'm sure they would do Vitamin e oil in capsule form. I use them for my daughter's fish oil liquid which is much cheaper than Boots. Holland and Barratt also do good offers and often sell their vitamins/supplements at half price. Keep on moisturising!
  • I use bio oil - its great, makes my face all fresh faced looking!
