Advice Needed Please Re: Nokia 6300
Hi, can anyone help please?
I stupidly washed my husbands Nokia 6300 phone which he has on a T-Mobile contract.:o
I tried drying it out to no avail.
So...... if I bought a PAYG Nokia 6300, would he just be able to put his sim card in and use it or would he have to get it unlocked and all that malarky?
TIA!

Just a quicky for you, if you remove all the covers and battery, leave it in an airing cupboard for a few days and see if it works then, many a phone of mine has been in the washing machine and it will take a few days, upto a week to dry out properly. After a few days give it a blow with a hair dryer.0 -

Hello again! I have been discussing this with someone and they said that even if I buy a T-mobile payg phone, I may still have to have it unlocked to change it into a contract phone. Does anyone know any different?
Thanks xxx:smileyheaRachel xx0 -
Both Currys and the Link have the phone at £79.99 go into either shop speak to the assistant ask to try your sim card if it works buy if not walk away or pay and get it un-locked the choice is yours !.0
