If you read the information the free 1 day is a Prime trial. All the information is there on the screen, including how to cancel it so you are not charged.
  • in my opinion

if you make many annual purchases on Amazon, you should still join prime.
  • Hi kookai,

If you choose the Prime trial, make sure to configure it so that it automatically cancels itself at the end of the trial.
That way you won't risk forgetting and being charged (unless you do want to continue)

As for Prime itself, I think it really depends on how many small orders (under £20) you usually do and how fast you usually need them.
Even if you order a lot, if it is usually above £20 and you are happy to wait an extra couple of days then Prime is not really useful, in my opinion.
  • I use Amazon a lot. But I am going to cancel my prime subscription. They used to deliver next day but now it never turns up next day and loads of the things I order are not actually covered by prime anyway.
