Vodafone Contact Options?

Hi, I recently made a Vodafone web order for a payg mobile for store collection but then changed my mind. I went onto the online chat to cancel the order and was told that it was done. I have a text message and email transcripts to prove that the order should have been cancelled. I have not had any refund though and when contacting the online chat they have been very vague as to whether it really is cancelled. I have now tried to call the Vodafone contact number but it says that I need a Vodafone mobile number or account number. I have neither as the order was just for a payg phone.

Does anyone have any other way that I can contact Vodafone to see what is going on?

Wouldnt a pay and go phone have a number though? SIM free wont but pay and go should?

You can simply go to your bank and do a chargeback. You have proof the order was cancelled and a supplier refusing a refund is valid grounds for a chargeback.

I chose the option to use existing number although I didn't have one.

I have finally gotten through to someone and my refund should be processed within 7 days. I will look at the charge back if it doesn't happen
