Friday 18th for current job, Thursday 10th for previous job. Definitely looking forward to the 10th December one more!

Same here! Friday for 11th for current job, Friday 18th for old job. Also looking forward to the one on 18th more - in fact, I am seriously considering pulling out of the one on 11th.

23rd Dec - it's a late lunch, closing the office at 12, taxis to the party and back by 5, so it's all in working hours.
Paid for fully by the firm.

In previous years we've had an evening do (again, all paid for) but a lot of people didn't come (but would then moan that we never do anything for them!) so this yer we decided to have it uring working hours so no one is giving up an evening . Its not compulsory but anyone who choses not to come will be working as usual!

Your office Christmas parties all sound quite civilised :) Nice meal out somewhere, or going bowling.

Are the days of the stereotyped (and dreaded) "Office Christmas Party" over now, then? The ones where office workers got too drunk, snogged a work colleague, photocopied their boobs and faxed them to head office..
