Increasingly poor dexterity means that I have difficulty in squeezing product from substantial tubes,

I have the same problem, and finding more and more products are stored in very rigid bottles. The Philosophy Cleanser is the worst at the moment. I'm having to buy products that I know I can squeeze the bottle, rather than buying what I would like to buy.

I have been saving empty pump dispensers and decanting as much as possible that is runny enough into them, previously I had kept the pump dispenser bit, but it was difficult matching the screw fittings. It might be worth asking friends/family to save some for you for a while.

Being in the shower is the worst thing, even bottles that I can do with dry hands are impossible when wet and slippery:(

I will do that, thanks. I was looking for some travel-size bottles that you can buy new, like in packs from Superdrug, but they never seem to do pump ones.

I drop things all the time too. Got bruises on my feet! Plus, I'm practically blind in the shower cos I wear glasses (and they just steam up in there), so cannot find bottle tops easily when I drop them! :D

If you have an Ikea near you it might be worth looking in there. A few months back I got a multipack of large-sized travel bottles with flip-top lids. They are very squeezable and brightly coloured so I can see them without my specs on.

I'm making a trip to Ikea soon, so I'll hopefully pick some up then. Thanks for the tip :D

    Another UU to report:

Vo5 heat protect spray- WBA this did a good job, lasted for ages and had a nice scent. I'll likely buy another at some point but I've got a half used bottle of loreal elnett heat defence spray to finish first.

I have an in, got the urban decay gwen stefani palette. I had £15 of debenhams vouchers so it made it a much more reasonable £25. Will go away in the Xmas pile!

I like the look of that palette. You made a great saving there. I wouldn't buy it myself as there are a couple of colours I would not use. Do like the look of the Christmas Too Faced palette though and may have a look on the sales.

I got a kit of travel bottles from Primark and one of them has a pump on it. From memory it was only £1. for the kit so a great bargain if they still have them.

I went to the Trafford Centre on Monday. Made some purchases (although strictly speaking MrM paid so free INs?):-

    Lush:-
    DeFluff
    King of Skin
Swapped 5 empties for a free cupcake face mask.

Bought some gifts from Boots as well which I won't post as they are not my INs.

Was v good all things considered but it was a flying visit and we were mainly looking at mobile phones.

I think I am going to throw away the Candy Cane soap I bought from TKMaxx. Ever since I started using it my legs and back have been really itchy and I can't put this down to anything else.

  • A few outs, but followed with a few ins.

    UU
    • Schwarzkopf Got2B Volume Hairspray – WMBA, not the biggest expert on hairspray but did the job and smelt nice.
    • Superdrug Vit E With argan oil body cream – WBA, really didn't like the original, but the version with argan oil was very nice. Says limited edition on it though so don't know whether I could repurchase.
    • Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream –WDNBA, thank god this has finally finished! I cut the tube open months ago and it still kept going! Used it as a lip balm but didn't really find it good for anything.

    INs
    • Superdrug Cleansing conditioner – saw this and bought it on a whim. I do have some shampoo and conditioner left, but am really intrigued by co-washing so picked this up as I had never seen it before.
    • Shea & Rosehip Body Butter – needed a new body lotion and love thick butters.
    • No7 Beautiful Skin Hot Cloth Cleanser – my L'oreal cleansing oil seems to be break ing me out, so I got this instead. Have heard great things and am really enjoying it.
    • Superdrug New Mum Nipple Balm - a funny one, but I have heard that nipple balm is really good for dry lips due to the lanolin. This was really cheap and I use it at night.

So although I'm not any items down on my list (and I still need to get a new hairspray!) I am actually quite content with my product stash at the moment. Looking through my list, the only thing I really want gone is the cleansing oil, but I am using that to clean my brushes, so it still has a job to do!
    No more goo hoarding!

I'll have a look next time I'm in Primark. Thanks.

Soft and Gentle Verbena and Waterlily Deodorant - One of the condensed cans (now totally convinced they don't last as long as the full-size ones), liked the scent WBA. I'm onto the Rose and Vanilla full size one now, which I didn't like when I last tried it but had already bought a new can ... typical!
