A bit sketchy on this because it's a while since I did it: As I remember it if the payment is done within 10 days of the payment due date the DD is still taken. But these days maybe so, maybe not. With my limit on Aqua I don't need to engineer a credit balance to have more to spend any more. MBNA is different though and my limit with them is pretty much not worth bothering with. Oops, off topic!
