Lol Kantakarus Mare at chinese.
There used to be someone on mse, we never could work out if they were male or female and they refused to tell us.
Oh and no one here should shout about shopping at the bigger supermarkets especially when there are glitches to be had so you can stock up cheaply
Don't forget to use coupons where you can make a saving.
I have done next year's calendar. Need to update diary. Dig out notebooks, make spreadsheets.
Really want to take advantage of everything this new ywar.0 -
Those of you that use SBs there is a sale starting tomorrow with the gift cards at 750 instead of 849. They are also reducing paypal from 999 to 900. Not sure when the sale ends but its the cheapest I have known since I started in 2011.Jan £10 a day £326.75/£3100

Good point. Aesop, about using coupons to make savings:T.
Just had a pleasant surprise as was checking balances of my various Loyalty Points and saw that I had just over £15 worth of Nectar points (a lot of these accrued by buying on eBay or doing Nectar Canvass surveys). Never shop at Sainsbury's any more and was checking what I could do with them when I discovered they can be converted to an e-voucher to spend on eBay:j
Was looking for a cheap spare part for my Tefal Actifry on there and bought one using some of the voucher so didn't cost me any real money:j.
Not sure whether I can count this towards the challenge or not. Haven't added the Nectar points to my challenge total already so I'm not claiming it twice;). Was going to buy the part anyway so I've saved 'real' money. What do you think please , Aesop?0 -
Nicki_Sue, re: Pinecone
This isn't the thread I was telling you about, I just found this one when searching for the other one (still not found it though, but I will;)).
Might interest you though, the relevant posts are the last 2:

Whoop whoop well done carbootcrazy, definitely add it. It's money earnt0

This is the reason I never leave vouchers/cash in any accounts like those who save all year. If they close you lose everythingcarbootcrazy wrote: »Nicki_Sue, re: Pinecone

Nicki_Sue, it's me again!
I've searched everywhere and can't find the other Pinecone posts:o. Sorry.
I think they must have been people chatting about it in other threads I visit, not specific Pinecone threads. I roam all over the MSE forum so they could be anywhere, I just don't know where to look.
Why don't you start a thread outlining your situation as someone else is bound to have had the same thing happen to them? Not sure where it would be best to post it, maybe Aesop will know:T0 -
Thanks, Aesop:T
Am adding the £11.49 I spent on eBay, I'll leave the rest of the voucher (£3.51) until I spend it.
Postman's just been with a £5 Love2Shop survey voucher, just in the nick of time for this month's declaration:j
Back in a mo when I've worked it out.0 -
That's £272.12 for December, better than I expected really:j
Very well done to all you money-makers this month, there have been some brilliant amounts made:A0
