  • Been a bit hit and miss so far this month but have managed to secure a £10 amazon voucher from Geonomics, doubled up my clubcard vouchers and saved £16 and won £2 on a scratchcard bought by my OH so I'm counting the full winnings.:j

I've also got nearly £45 due from selling some old DVD's and games which I'm hoping should be with me before Christmas.:j

Have been trying my hand on the survey sites but not sure if I've made anything yet as I'm still getting to grips with them. One survey seems to be taking an age to complete (700+ song excerpts to comment on )

Well done to Lynne on the fab bargaining for the tablet :j

So well done on your bargain!
I am always a bit cheeky and ask for a discount. If you don't ask you don't get ;)

It's a bit cheeky because I've usually price checked first anyway, going for the cheapest offer :rotfl:

I will stick some stuff on a tshirt, long sleeved, (he hates wearing those too!) and he can go wearing that. Nice compromise as on thursday pm he has his party where he wears his own clothes! he can wear his xmas tshirt for that too!
Great to see you've solved the 'Christmas jumper' fiasco. My DS never wanted to wear a jumper either as he said he was too hot and has finished up living in Ibiza :rotfl:

Sounds like you're doing well there and only half way through the month.

Keep going with the surveys but dump those that ask too much for what they are willing to pay. You will get the hang of them soon enough. Good luck

    Evening all :hello:

Soo sorry I'm so late to the party today but the day just disappeared somehow.

    Wasn't it exciting :j

I watched all the lead up to the take-off and then the take off itself. At 5.00 I logged onto the live NASA site to watch the docking. My heart really was pounding when they had to abort the first time and so pleased when they eventually made it. Then watched the programme on TV with Brian Cox (dishy or what) and saw them entering the station. Wow !!

In other news I was busy cooking most of the day, though did try a couple of surveys (screened out :() and checked the free lotteries - nada.

I have taken a bit of a gamble and used the cash-back offer I mentioned from Nationwide - £25 back off £100 purchase. I have bought a card, which I know I will use as it's valid for ten years. I haven't counted it yet and will see if I get it back - meant to be within five days of delivery.

Hope you all have a winning Wednesday

anyone doing shop and scan, in case you haven't seen your emails yet

Thank you for your continued help on our ShopandScan Panel.

    Merry Christmas!

We are aware that this is a busy time of year and it can be difficult to find the time to scan all of the extra shopping you are getting in for Christmas. As a thank you for the extra effort that you make we would like to give you double points for Christmas!

Instead of the usual 1100 points, you will receive 2200 points for each week that you transmit your barcodes over the Christmas period.

The double points will be available for transmitting in the three weeks from Monday 14th December to Sunday 3rd January.

This means that the weekly reward points paid on Monday 21st December, Monday 28th December and Monday 4th January will be doubled.

During this period you will still receive 500 points per week for uploading till receipts as usual.

Thank you for your help with our research, and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

    ShopandScan Team

    Please transmit every 7 days
or more often if you want.
