I noticed yesterday that your totals added up to over the £10 a day for the whole year, but didn't want to spoil your surprise ;)

What a brilliant achievement of extra earnings but you deserve it with all the things you try :money:

    Thanks for that, Lynne. You're a sweetheart:T
  • Just a short(ish) post (for a change;)). It's not that I'm wanting to tear myself away to do anything more interesting but I'm in danger of nodding off:eek:. Was up so early this morning and am desperately trying to keep my eyes open to watch the London fireworks on TV just after midnight. I love fireworks, especially when I don't have to go out in the cold and wet to see them:j

Just want to say a massive congratulations to Rosie (wow, that's a brilliant total:T), to Lynne (ditto) and to Aesop for the £25 win(you deserve a big slice of good luck:j)

Anyone else I've missed congratulating, please forgive me:o

    Happy New Year, everyone_party_

See you all on the other side:beer:

    Thanks CBC

Hope you enjoy the fireworks - I love them too.

I have to watch London on-line as we get the Edinburgh ones here and they're not a patch :(

'See' you the morrow - raising my glass to you 'cheers'

Love and thanks to all my new friends on this fred and all thebest for 2016 xx
  • Declaring my total for December as £286. Most of the money is from working overtime/double pay over the Christmas period and I hope this year I find a way to be less dependent on work for extra cash.

Declaring at £591.03 for December 2015!! don't think will make anywhere near that amount in January, it was the CPP claim that helped.

Managed £2676.04 and some in 2015 :j it was more but I stopped adding in the summer for a bit.

So it is possible to make extra, just hard work :rotfl:

I don't know what you do Aesop, but clearly your skills and tenacity have a great value, which you need to get recognised.

I freelanced for a while and found that if I llet them "Interview me" I was competing with their preconceived ideas - BUT if I took charge and "Interviewed them...." ("so what does the job entail ? What is your main problem ? - Here's how I feel we could solve that ....) I rarely failed - occasionally they woiuldn'yt let you do that, but surprisingly often they did - and I got those jobs without fail ! )

    Hope that helps - give it a try , what's to lose ? :)

thank you xx that's a very good tip. I would love to get more interviews! Only had one so far and they turned me down as as he didn't like the fact I had a child. (obviously did not say that but I am not stupid)

I got turned down for a funeral parlour job. :rotfl: You cant say I am being fussy in applying and still getting turned down.
