Est.annual energy 3.424kWh
Yr1 earnings £767
25YR £28,983
Elevation no 1: 163 deg
100% unshaded
New quote from Complete Green Solutions based in Nuneaton, seem to have god feedback locally.
System 3.99kWh (14x285 JA percium PV panels, Solar edge inverter and power optimizer, iBoost
FIT & Export £540
Bill savings £313
Cost £6200
The iBoost recommended because I have an emersion heater. Are the potential benefits of this system worth £1000? I'm assuming the bill savings will be exaggerated but will the bigger system and accessories be worthwhile.

Not sure if this has been discussed before, but surely the plural of 'roof' is 'roofs'? A quick 'google' seems to confirm roofs is correct
But until we start talking about horses having hoofs, loafs of bread and trees bearing leafs I for one shall be sticking with rooves.NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -

As before the £313 savings are still far too high.
As you have a Hot water tank with an immersion heater you presumably have gas or oil Central Heating?? Bearing in mind that both oil and gas are available for around 3p/kWh. That means with the boiler efficiency taken into account a ballpark figure for either fuel is about 4p/kWh.
So if you managed to divert, say, 1,000kWh pa to your immersion heater your savings would be around £40 a year. Not enough to justify spending a £1,000 IMO0
