  • Just been catching up on the weekend's thread:
YorkshireLass - Re. the shampoo if you take it back you should get refunded. I work in Mr T next to customer services and their policy is if something is priced wrong they give you back twice the difference :) not sure if @sda have a similar policy but it is worth a go :)

  • I joined up here over a year ago and havent really been in the forums for the most part, but i must admit when i joined the wealth of information, feedback and support was great. Slowly working my way to being debt free and started today by sending off 4 letters to CC companies making F&F settlement offers (fingers crossed), also have spent zero so far, and as a freelance consultant i'm hoping a client will pay me today!

  • La E just be your usual sweet self and just say right now it's not going to be a possibility but you hope to be able to in the future and leave it at that. You don't need to justify yourself lovely.

Cheers DNMS... Will pluck up the courage...! :)

So just as well I checked banking today - two fraudulent transactions for £479 each!! It took me into my overdraft too so I'll need to check I won't get charged overdraft fees for those days.

    Hi,

Alas too busy to contribute much. Work has switched to 12 hour shifts for the season, and my workload is ridiculous. However, have managed to:

    * Take a packed lunch; struggling to eat just now, which isn't helping.

    * Searched for a DVD more cheaply on https://www.flubit.com

    * OH has just invoiced her latest contractor for £500+, most of which will be profit.

    Hugs to all.

    Hi all,

Hope everyone is OK - positive thoughts to those who need them x

I feel so much better having slept most of the day (yesterday) I now brush off lil comments etc and I am now less sensitive.

Today hasn't quite gone to plan as I woke up late so did not make breakfast or lunch so I went for cheepo meals.

    Today I have/will:
    • dinner from stores
    • checked online banking
    • checked investment and re-invested
    • charged phone via the pc
    • drove at 50mph to minimise fuel usage
    • need to make lunch for tomorrow (falafels in a wrap with bbq sauce)
    • low spend day - just food at work, a large bag of popcorn (will portion up for snacks) and a box of own brand chocolates for my nans birthday tomorrow
    • have an early night - hopefully i will get out of the habit of waking at 4am

Think that is about my lot for today - take care all
