Has your wireless connetion been setup encrpted using either WPA or WEP? If not, your on an "open system" where anyone can use your wireless connection, thus stealing your broadband.something missing0

If you look about 3/4 down on this page: http://www.thinkbroadband.com/hardware/reviews/2005/q1/voyager2100.html it will give you an idea.
You need to log into your router page: 192.168.1.1 then type "admin" for both the username and password. This then lets you into your router. If you then go to "configuration" and "wireless" this si where you can set up wireless encryption.something missing0 -
I found this on the 2100 home page but dont know what the last sentence means
After enabling security and clicking Apply, you will lose the connection with your Voyager 2100. You should now set-up security on your wireless adapters in order to re-establish the connection.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
Are you sure the message you are getting is not from IE?Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

Does sound like the standard alert for switching between secure and insecure sites. Your browser wouldn't know what encryption is set on the router.0

To tell if you network is secure, look at this screen
Does it say security enabled network (WPA)?Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -
Not exactly been here before.

Then secure it, it's easy enough if you follow the user manual instructions. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
