Hi all, scuse the interruption, but what the heck is matched betting??

Well done ciarasdreams for achieving the car boot sale! It's something my OH and I so want to do, to get rid of what we don't want and get the money that we DO!

    Sue.

There is a board called Gambling Introductory Offer Loophles which explains it all! :D
  • Is the matched betting paying off for you though? I have only got to where I am though because I am getting to live just about completely for free without any real overheads and I also have somebody who keeps managing to find me cushy second jobs as well so I have not really done much for myself. :o I still have massive student loan debts that I be having to sort out next except that is going to be more difficult to explain because my sister covered all of my overheads and also gave me money to live off of so I should never really have had them in the first place. :o

You mean you haven't been reading my betting diary?

    :p

Yeah it's going really well this month. Set myself a target of £500 a month but have nearly made enough to cover March aswell. Just hope I can keep it going so it brings the DFD nearer!

I am afraid not because I am really not very much of a gambler and spent a whole holiday in Las Vegas chatting to the housekeeping staff and drinking far too many Margaritas but I did not gamble once. :o You are doing really well at it congratulations and I hope it keeps going so well for you. :D

Many thanks SS. Have just been reading it all through.....though I still haven't a clue what it really is, but according to the intro posts, I can't be expected to yet, but I'll keep reading it..again..and again.

I still can't get my head fully round the TCBack business yet, though I've signed up to it, is that mad or....madder! I know it's about earning by logging into them first before going and buying - more than that I'm baffled! If anyone can help a poor baffled soul I'd be SO grateful.

  • Have just finished reading all of your post- i should have been in bed ages ago, but it was so gripping and inspirational i just had to finish. WELL DONE!!The amount of support you have had from everyone is excellent, and it just goes to show how much can be achieved with that support. Am going to bed now as punch drunk with all the reading and i'm glad you answered the earlier post about the overpayment of wages. Hope your sister is well and gald to hear about baby as well.

I took the £859.90 to the bank today and paid it in before anything bad happened to it and it got lost or something worse than that happened. Since it is payday tomorrow and I still have some money left over I rounded it up and sent £1,000.00 to the debt collectors so even although it will probably not actually reach them until friday I am counting it as paid anyway and new debt total is £9,800.00 and I still have money on its way from paypal as well. :D

It is still a bit sore but it is getting better though I have had it bandaged up in stretchy stuff every day but I am not sure if my sister is being cruel but she insists that I take it off before going to bed which is when it seems to hurt the most. It feels brilliant being under 10 but it is still a long way to go and then I will have to sort out clearing my student loans which are kind of my guilty secret so that for the first time ever as an adult I can be completely debt free. :D
