But I always tell the children that cheating is bad and that they should never do it. :o :rotfl: It all went really well tonight. :D

    You DIDNT cheat :naughty:

    Glad it went well ;)
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches

I think that I will probably always feel a bit like I did though because I have got so much undeserved help and support to get me here. :o Thank you I still cannot believe how well it is going or how badly that it is causing me to sleep to the point where I was drinking hot chocolate with marsh mallows and cream and mine had Baileys in it too with my sister at 3.30 am this morning while watching a rubbish film and still grinning to the point where I should have jaw lock or something. :D

  • I sincerely hope not. But I have a voucher left over from Christmas that I need to use up so this may be the thing that I spend it on.
Looks like you might not need the voucher if everything goes ok in the future ;) Had a lovely birthday yesterday. OH off work for the day and we went with some friends to see the beached ship Riverdance at clevelys, quite an amazing site- loads of folk there and i can now casually say we were on the beach in february:D Bit breezy though. We then went shopping in freeport where i spent some of my birthday vouchers and had our dinner out. So all in all not a bad day, and in the evening we pigged out on pancakes, i showed my son how to make them and he did a good job. I'm a lucky old mum.Considering the OH is also a geordie and is not usually imaginative on present fund he didn't do too badly, he got me/us tickets to see Chris Rea in Manchester and a box of Thorntons. Unfortunately he invited friends to come as well and paid for their tickets on his CC, we will have to wait ages for their money and i very rarely get to spend any time with him so was a bit fed up about it. Some of the site must be rubbing off though because he has saved up in his Isa so he can at least pay ours off. Hope that doesn't come across too badly because i did have a good day I just wanted to go out together as a couple for a change. Hope you managed some sleep, we will be watching the match at said mates house tonight- both big footie fans so you can see why i would like to go out without them!!!

Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:

I am glad that you enjoyed your birthday. :D I am aware of what you mean about alone time with your husband even although I have never experienced it myself because when my sister's husband comes home they are like that and they tend to disappear for a week or two to spend time with just them and the rest of the world just gets shut out. :o I cannot wait for the game tonight although I am a bit nervous about meeting the work colleagues incase they think that I am not good enough and that he should be looking for somebody much better than me.

  • Well i'm sure your ex must have done a piece on you if you think you're not good enough to be seen in company with colleagues. I'm betting you've had a good time tonight and were wondering what you were worrying about. Hope you enjoyed the match- I didn't go round tonight as i still felt a bit miffed- pathetic aren't i? so enjoyed watching a film with the kids.
keep thinking-i'm intelligent, have a degree, hold a good job, got a promotion and am more than worthy - repeat 10x a day until feeling very very confident. I'll have to find one for myself now.

The thing with my self belief is connected to my ex but even although I do have quite a few choice words in mind to describe his personal shortcommings it was never as a result of him being deliberately cruel or malicious to me but was more to do with what he had made me become for four years without my knowledge or consent which went totally against what I believe in. :o It actually all went really well and they were all lovely and really friendly so I had a fabulous night. :D

I would say that it is because I am trying to save on the heating but since I do not actually pay for it that would be a poor excuse. ;)
