Come on Ciara, you know what they mean.............. new hats/weddings :T
I hope I don't come across as the voice of doom, but I was always brought up to think that something which seems to good to be true probably is, and I have to say, this young man certainly seems to good to be true.
Why hasn't he been snapped up before now?
I really do hope it goes well for you, but be careful (I know, I'm a miserable, suspicious cow, but I've been there and been conned).I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Not that i'm nosy or anything:rolleyes:It's just the mention of candlelight and romance keeping us in suspense we were as intrigued as you.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

It is still very early days and I am really not the most trusting of people considering my history but everything just feels right and safe with this man and I really feel like I can trust him and in addition to that my sister thinks that he is trustworthy and she is never wrong these days.We did the whole tell me about yourself thing this weekend and although in reality we are still relative strangers I do feel like I know him so much better now.
He is definitely single which is good to know and he has been working in Asia for the last few years after he split up with his long term girlfriend who he had been with ever since freshers week at university. He is still friends with her and does keep in touch but I do understand that because my older sister has always with one exception done the same thing with the explanation that even if you are not destined to be together for life it would be silly to walk away from the the kind of trust and security that you have with somebody that you have been that close to and that knows and will support you that well.
I did not go into a huge amount of detail but I even sort of alluded to my debt situation and he was brilliant about it and put a lot of effort into reassuring me that there is no expectation for me to spend any money that I cannot afford and that he thinks money is the lazy persons excuse to avoid making any effort anyway and that things that have been thought about and planned with some effort are far more impressive anyway.

It was absolutely wonderful and I enjoyed every moment of it and I cannot wait to do it again.I was a bit worried about how much it was all costing but when I mentioned this to him he just said that he has spent years working to get where he is and to be able to comfortably afford to be able to do what he wants when he wants to to make himself happy and time with me is apparently doing that for him just now.

Sorry I have been very busy and have only just got some time on my own just now to update before I go to my bed to catch up on all of the sleep that I have missed because I am so tired. At least it is half term here though so I can stay in bed until lunchtime.

I was really not planning the same for this week but I forgot that it was Valentines day yesterday. This week has been just like last week which I am really not complaining about except that I have only been in work for two days and one of those was an INSET so it really does not count anyway and I am at home just now trying to decide what I am wearing today because I have to attend a course for work and I am really not too sure about what to wear at all.
I have still been doing my second job even although my boss has noticed that some of the documents are being forwarded in the early hours of the morning instead of the evening like I am really supposed to do but he said that he is not bothered so long as everything is fine and done properly which thankfully it always is. There is a show again tomorrow so I will be having yet another wardrobe crisis when I get home tonight but it is a good opportunity to be making some more commision before the end of the month so I am just going to have to concentrate and practice and go on an absolutely massive charm offensive tomorrow.
