its really annoying as my dad is a retired electrician and he could do the work easily but no certificate for EDF
They refused to remove the meter without a certificate as I had disconnected the heaters from the circuit. I asked 2 electricians to certify it and they were amused no end at the idea of being paid to test a circuit that had nothing attached to it. In the end an edf engineer came round on another matter and took it out when my builder explained the situation. Even now though I can't leave edf as the meters are still showing as related on the National Grid database, even though it was removed on the 10th.0 -
I also have one of these damn meters and no other provider wants to touch you with a barge pole . I have'nt even used the blasted thing in 2 years !!!!! its really annoying and you just can't switch . Martin lewis never mentions this in his show's though , does he ?0
