Got it! Thanks for the advice, I shall Ignore!
One last point, I presume, IF they did try to take court action like a CCJ if thats possible, then I'd get formal notice before it got to that stage? and if so I'd have the option to pay and clear it all up?
Thanks again for your help, I do appreciate it0 -
You would get formal court papers served on you. A CCJ with credit endorsement will only follow if you lose the court case, the Judge awards costs against you, you refuse/forget to pay within the timescale determined by the Judge (usually 28 days).
I could scream about the misinformation bandied around about CCJs.
You always have the option to pay, even on the steps of the courtroom. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Ok thank you, as you can tell I have no idea about CCJ's or parking notices!
But once again thank you for taking the time with your advice!

Thanks for the info, Sorry for posting this, I only found the sticky after you pointed it out. Its worth saying that one of the people advising to ignore is a police officer!, as about 4 separate people parked in the same place at the same time got a notice and we've all been advised to ignore it. I shall look into it further, but yes you are right the head says:
'Reduced payment offer to avoid potential court proceedings'
The also say 'recommend their solicitor to commence court proceedings against you'
They state its 'their clients final offer to settle the case'
I shall have to spend a bit of time reading the stickies as theres loads of info in there,
Thanks again for taking the time to reply
