Personally i'd look in to changing banks, to something like the halifax reward account
At £5 per day for unauthorised overdraft usage (after the buffer), that's quite possibly one of the worst accounts for someone who is prone to taking their eye off the ball!

I guess TSB has to fund that 5% interest they pay from somewhere. :)

There appears to be a discrepancy between the overdraft rates here and the ones here.

OP mentions they've had their account for sometime, so I guess it's a Classic Account. According to the first link interest charged on unplanned overdrafts is 1.53% per month.

The PDF in the second link mentions the free £10 buffer and the £5/£10 per day fees, subject to 8 fees per month.
  • SnowTiger - I wouldn't really call it a discrepancy when one piece of information you're referencing is more than 4 years out of date!

Wins for the wedding: membership for a 'wedsite' and app, £35 gift voucher for party supplies shop, £50 worth of hand painted signs, 1kg of heart shaped marshmallows :money:

    Which one?

The PDF is dated November 2015.

The other page was last updated 3rd November 2015. Admittedly the part about overdrafts was last updated on 2nd October 2012, however I think it would reasonable to assume that simply meant the rates hadn't changed since then.
