They don't have to prove delivery, otherwise no-one in dispute would ever have 'received' anything. It's not possible to prove if a letter was delivered unless sent registered post, so no such requirement exists.No free lunch, and no free laptop

They would be able to forward an e-mail to the op showing that they (Sky) notified the op, if one exists. If not, then they should agree to termination as requested.0

There would not be individual notification emails; just a standard one for all customers.
It would be very easy for someone to delete an email from Sky; especially if they receive the publicity ones about upcoming tv programmes and special offers, deleting under the assumption that the notification was one of these.0 -
Virgin Media are doing the same, putting costs up mid contract. Although they write to you, they only date the letter by month and year, when I asked what date does the 30 days start from I was told from the 1st of the month following the letter i.e letter received in November have 30 days to cancel from the 1 Dec. I would ask them to clarify what date they sent the email, its likely as with VM they will only be able to tell you which month so if it was sent in November you can easily argue 30 days starts from DEC 1...0
