DPD - the best?

  • Interlink Express is the "domestic" end of DPD and uses the same Predict tracking software - and those 2 companies are the best in the business for planned delivery notification and online tracking!

How did you lose an Ebay case?

If the sender put the wrong house number on the parcel they can't have proof of delivery to you.

As for the underlined part, who are you talking about, Ebay, DPD, or the sender?

Just Ebay/Paypal regular stupidity, the seller got a letter that said something along the lines of it was delivered to the correct address, that meant the address on the label was the one they delivered to therefore correct in real terms so Ebay/Paypal took it as proof of delivery.

The the tracking thing I bought DPD shop service, took the item to the nearest shop where it was scanned but just shows as"on the way" and" no other updates like taken to local depot.

I would not have accepted that.

It's beyond stupid that fleabay would accept 'proof' that did not mention the correct address.

It's hard to believe that DPD would issue a letter of that type without an address.

It implies a rock solid way of defrauding people, by selling them things, sending it to the wrong address, and then giving Ebay a letter saying it was delivered!

I suspect that you have something slightly wrong with this account.

I don't know what the above means.

Another thumbs up for DPD-I've had two phones delivered from Vodafone through them. Both times I've had a text with the time and they've turned up right on the dot.

I don't know what the above means.

Its all in the wording, they didnt confirm the actual address but they delivered to the address they were given well thats what I assume, but its unclear as there was a right mess up that week in parcels, I signed for one for a neighbour the week before so the driver knocked on my door and hers asking if she had got her parcel and my one was sent to the next block i.e lets say I live at 114A Main Street it was sent to 116A Main Street, I think he also knocked on the neighbours to ask if they had received any parcels for anyone else and was told no.

But I did ring up DPD customer services and was told the address they had delivered to but they said they couldnt give me evidence of that since I wasnt the DPD account holder.

Meanwhile the seller outright claimed they sent to the right address and said I was trying to scam them.

The store one is just like Collect+, you print own label and take it to a local shop that offers the collection and courier comes the next working day to pick up any parcels, its currently over a week later and despite being a next day service its not showing as delivered and only today even shows as them having it in their possesion.

Another vote for DPD. An excellent service..
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

And another. Had a delivery yesterday, bang on the dot. And don't the drivers work hard - I watched as the poor bloke spent the day rushing around the wilds of Norfolk.
  • DPD are a bunch of are soles had one of them drive their van into my parked car then scarpered before i could get his reg.

DPD were completely uncooperative, have refused a few items since that they have tried to deliver.

I'm surprised that the balance is positive towards DPD, my experience is that the one hour delivery slot if just a gimmick and hasn't worked at all for me (still waiting for a parcel that was promised 2 days ago).
They are also difficult to contact with problems their webform doesn't work and if you phone you just get an automated message. In my experience they are worse or no better than the rest.
