My wireless Connection Icon is Gone

    Right, i assume you mean speedbooster, in which case, that is a brand of linksys USB wireless adapters so it does indeed sound like your desktop uses wireless.

    Firstly try unplugging that adapter from the USB slot and re-plugging it in (USB is plug and play), secondly try restarting (seriously it might work). If neither have any luck- Right click on my computer-goto properties-click the hardware tab-click device manager. In the window that comes up, is any of the tree extended with any showing a red cross?
