The Link Final Cashback Question
Hi everyone,
My contract with Orange is running out soon and i was wondering what the best way to cancel it given that I am still to have one more cash back.
I started the contract mid October of last year and as they ask for 10th and 12th bill I have to send in Septembers bill. What worries me is that one of the T&Cs is : You must still be connected to the network and specified tariff when you redeem this offer. Customers who disconnect before claiming are not eligible for this offer. So does that mean it is OK for me to call orange and ask them to cancel my contract as soon as I receive my 12th month bill?
Thanks
Kraz

The terms did say that you have to be connected when you send your claim form in so if you want to be safe make sure that your cashback claim has been received and processed before you disconnect.
You can ring the helpline and ask them this. They are a bit slow at processing it took about 2 weeks for them to confirm they processed it. The last cashback was a lot and I did not want to risk it.
I was with o2 so I got my 12th bill, sent off the claim then phoned up for a puk code which I could use once I knew they had proccesed the claim.
Received my last check ok so hope you do too. Good luck.0 -
right, so you mean get the bill, send it off, and then call like 2 weeks later to check if its been processed and if it has been then cancel with orange?0

I think you can get the bill. send it off and ask for a PAC Code (it's valid for 30 days, so you can use it as soon as you are sure the claim is been processed.
There is no way Link would know you have cancelled the contract, though I am not sure about this....Good luck anyway0
