Council tax bill not forwarded on

The tenant isn't your employee.
This is a prime example of when LLs need licencing.
The post doesn't say that he considers the tenant to be an employee, only that a very basic courtesy is payed. I forward all my landlords post on immediately and return all previous tenants mail to sender. It isn't difficult and can really help the landlord, renting should be a two way street. You seem to have the opinion that all landlords are evil, I would say the same proportion of bad landlords and bad tenants exist. I have a very good relationship with the tenant, bending over backwards to accommodate her requests. That's what makes the whole thing disappointing for me. That said, as I have previously stated I don't blame her I blame the council.0 -

(paid)- a basic courtesy would be the LL arranging mail redirection so their tenant, who's paying their mortgage, doesn't have to deal with every bit of junk that arrives. That's a basic courtesy. You seem to have the opinion that all landlords are evil, - Not evil. Most are fine. Of the ones that aren't, most are stupid rather than evil. Of course there's bad tenants, and if one posts here I'll tell them the same thing.
However your thread isn't titled: Council failed to send letter to new address
It's titled post not forwarded on...0 -

You seem very annoyed with the OP. I'd agree with you that they should have paid for a postal redirection if they had ever lived at the property, but they hadn't. They had also given the council their address, therefore weren't expecting any post to go to the property for the tenant to deal with.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -

But they knew council tax would be due.
I'm annoyed for the tenant, having to deal with bailiffs for his debt.0 -
Aww, thanks csgohan4 - I guess I love you a bit, too!
Well, I've not been banned, so I guess I'll just look forward to more private messages from guest101. Thankfully, this forum isn't my life, so they won't bother me.
Won't be long I'm sure.
Don't worry, I was just letting you know how to ignore my posts, but you didn't want to really. Curiosity and all...0 -

And being banned would ruin me. My life would be over.
Or... I could just re-join from one of my other email addresses. Phew! Life is worth living again!0
