Many thanks, I hadn't spotted that one - and hopefully it will be a bargain.0

If buying this phone or another based on PAYG + top up, can another sim be used once the top up has expired.
Example, replace EE sim with a Three sim or would it be locked to EE.:T0 -
It should be unlocked from CPW0

Is that 100% though is that the CPW policy with payg mobiles + top up.:T0 -
99.9%
Exceptions are very rare and normally clearly visible, e.g. some network-branded phones like, say, Vodafone Smart First 6 (if CPW were selling it).
BTW, it's considerably better than the above Alcatel, costs just a tenner more (unless you qualify for PAYG upgrade at CPW), and reportedly can be unlocked for a pound.

Bad news its a crap phone

Hi -the phone arrived today, and whilst the screen resolution isn't great it's certainly readable and at £9.99 for an unlocked Android 4.4 it is very cheap, even for an emergency phone. I've been using it with a FreedomPop SIM, which seems to use a 3 data connection for calls.0

But that requires a £10 top up too. So £12.50 more...and who wants a Vodafone topup?0
