  • but only 14 days to pay at reduced rate?
  • great advice - i haven't had any evidence from UKCPM ltd as yet, will get complaining, but as they are no longer BPA members - will this not be futile?

  • The 1st was 29/9/15 and 2nd 9th October - (alleged incident date)

    - the were both just letter PCN notifications (ie no sticker or notice on the car).

However, the 2nd notice/ letter had terms and stated reason for issue relating to a sticker or notice being put on my car. Surely they can't prove that as there was no sticker / issued ??

    Hi All

I need some advice as have had 2 parking notices, within a week of one another - from the same company.

    - The 1st I have appealed through POPLA as was given a reference for this and advised this was the thing to do if my initial appeal was rejected by operator.
    - The 2nd, they haven't given me the option of appealing through POPLA. ie no reference to POPLA on the operator's appeal rejection letter.

My understanding from these useful forum threads, is that we as consumers, have more chance of a fair appeal by POPLA.

Can anyone advise why they haven't offered the chance to appeal through POPLA with the 2nd notice?

Is this correct legal practice? - Thanks in anticipation for any advice or help.

    Kind Regards

    Stewart

(ps: the operator is UK Car Park Management Ltd -

    - The 2nd response is hallmarked with IPC / BPA and IAS logos)

We simply cannot have two purported appeals service, its like having two county courts in the same town.

Who cares? No-one is telling you to look at that or pay a penny.

Your POPLA win (if you rebut the evidence strongly - keep checking Portal in case POPLA get their copy but you don't!) will be useful if they try to pursue the other one.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Your 1st infringement was when UKCPM were with the BPA, so you can go down the POPLA route with that one.

The 2nd was after they moved the to the IPC, so you are stuck with the so called Independent Appeals Service (IAS).

And the new appeals service must be fully independent and have the powers to charge PPCs £100 for every upheld appeal to give to the motorist to say sorry for the harassment caused by their actions :o
