Well done on the stopping smoking. Its the biggest hurdle i ever cleared but since giving up (6 years) I now know it was definitely worth it. Good luck with your debt busting and congratulations on realising early enough that you needed to do something about it.Proud to have dealt with my debts. Hi All!
After 2 busy days I had a chance to get on to forum. Should say its been going fine!
Still haven't smoked any, patches seem to be working. But having few many dreams during nights! Not sure if others have experienced this. strange though!
Started a spending dairy, unconciously have not been spending much as i need to write it in the dairy. Its suprisingly very helpful!
Got paid today, so will clear some debts today.
4 books had been sold on amazon, giving me 30 pounds. Annoyingly pounds symbol does'nt work on my keyboard! But one of the book weighed over 1kg, spent 5.90 on post!!! could'nt believe myself! made 2 pounds on a good book. But anyway may recover some of that on lighter books.LBM(23/07/07):17603.84 Balance Now(30/09/07): 16763.57

Hi Mindspace, all the best for your DFW journey. Re the dreams, that happens quite often with the NRT patches. If you're enjoying the dreams and don't feel too tired out by them (:D ) then carry on as you are. If not, just take the patch off about half an hour before you go to sleep. Unfortunately, my friend commutes hour and a half to and from work. By that time he's pretty much neckerred. I tried to persuade him if he was intrested, couple of months ago and left it.
Great idea though!!:TLBM(23/07/07):17603.84 Balance Now(30/09/07): 16763.57

Not sure if I'm enjoying the dreams, as mostly they go back on old memories. My dad passed away 5 months ago, so, mostly revolving around him. Leaving me feeling emotional early in the morning.
Never mind though! Its better than not smoking. Thanks for the tip, probably will try removing half an hour before if its getting too much.LBM(23/07/07):17603.84 Balance Now(30/09/07): 16763.57

I think between fags & gym, getting mentally prepared to give up smoking and getting few patches tomorrow. should see how i get on!
I gave up smoking 6 months ago, contacted my GP and was prescribed a course of Champix tablets, best thing ever, by the time quitting day came around I couldn't wait to stop, felt ill everytime I lit up
best thing was the tablets were free:D0 -
Hi. Glad to hear you are trying to stop smoking. Yes I found the dreams a side effect, that was if I forgot to take my patch off at night. Sorry to hear about your dad, I hope the dreams of him are about good times, the sad thing is grief is the price we pay for loving whether they be human or animal.Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0
