    Hi Mindspace,
At the end of the month do you have about £250 remaining or is this just the figure you should have left?
If you do then you should chuck it at the HSBC CC and get that away in one month then start chucking it at the M&S CC.

As the others have said, you need to seriously consider stopping smoking. If you are going to the gym then you aren't going to get the full benefits.

Everything else looks pretty much ok in your SOA, maybe you could get a slightly cheaper deal on your mobile if you can haggle on the price plan.

Hi ifstar, this is the amount which should be left, but never see it where it goes. So, started a dairy today, which should hopefully crub or show me where this money is going.

  • Hi,

According to my figures you have £98.41 per week to spend on food, fags and anything else. I suggest you write this amount in a little note book (a spending diary) on a Monday and make a note of all you spend by deduction. If you do have any over, carry forward to the next Monday.

Fix the repayments to the CCs and stop using them for any more purchases. Set up SOs for the repayments, not DDs. I have included £50 per month towards your od payoff, so ignore your bank balance and stick to your book.

    good luck, the figures:

The gym is Reebok sports club in canary wharf, London. My office is just nearby,so its bit convienient. I tried looking around in the area when i first joined, I found one which even charges 114.50/month. Don't remember the name now.

I usually go min 20 days/month. But its very expensive compared to my earnings.

  • Well, had a productive day yesterday! Got around to put some books on sale on amazon. It was my first time.

I can't believe it....already two books are sold, giving me 17 pounds towards my debts! Hurrah!

Now really don't know if i need to send them recorded delivery or just first class will do? Does anyone know if post office is open on bank holiday?

I always send books 2nd class and get a receipt. If you write their post code on the back of the receipt then you will be able to track the. I always sent the buyer an email telling them that I have posted them and often people will mail me back to say they have arrived safely. Don't bother with recorded unless the book is very expensive. Hope this helps.

Yeh you can ask them for a receipt, the office I go to usually gives me one. Some larger post offices now have "self service" machines and those always give receipts for normal stuff (recorded you have to go to the counter for).
