O2 free sims - use without topping up?

sprintstar

Is there anyway of registering the new O2 free PAYG sims and using them straightaway without topping up? I haven't had a new sim since last year, when you could register one and immediately have £1 of credit, was wondering if the T&Cs were different now? Cheers!

Anyone? If not with O2 do any other network's PAYG sims come with credit preloaded? Or do they all need a top up first? Thanks.

The O2 sims you cant, the vodafone ones come with £1 pre loaded on them so you can use those straight away, t-Mobile have to be topped up as do Orange

You have to register to get the £1 credit (free text or online) but you don't have to top-up despite what the O2 blurb says:)
