  • I just entered the details of all my tickets on PE site
1.The ticket that popla approved the appeal the details could not be found
    2. The original ticket ref no before the named driver was submitted is showing £85 to pay, even though PE has written to the named driver.
3, The ticket with the named driver payment details not showing online
4, debt collectors letter , with ref no , showing £135 to pay on PE

So the appeal you won at POPLA relating to the Dec 2014 charge means that ticket is dead and buried. Clear that from your mind!

The outstanding ticket where you have nominated the driver shouldn't be your problem. It may be that it still has the same (original) reference number even though the ticket has been reallocated (my guess) and may be why you can still access the details.

Has the nominated driver heard anything at all from PE? If he/she has, then you should be out of that loop too.

In theory you only have one ticket to pay attention to - that's the one being chased by the debt collector - IGNORE, unless PE come back with a Letter Before Claim or issue stamped court papers from the Northampton County Court bulk distribution centre, either will need dealing with, so come back if any received. We don't need to know about any further debt collector letters!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • Thank you so much, the original PE letter has a different reference number to that of the nominated driver, as P E wrote to the driver with the new reference number.
Well I guess I would wait and see what happens now
    Thanks

So if PE are corresponding with the nominated driver then you can forget that ticket too.

Ignore anything from debt collectors, come back if you get anything from PE. Sleep easy.
