Why am i getting a refund?

I received a letter from Yorkshire Water today, informing me they are repaying a big chunk tomorrow by direct credit. I've had no previous correspondence from them about this and I had not requested any over payment to be refunded. And why have I overpaid more than £200 in the first place?
