One other point in the unlikely event that this got to court, nursing mothers are covered by the Equality Act 2010. I'm not sure how this could be used to advantage in a permit dispute, but an EA 2010 breach might be something that would make the PPC seem even more obnoxious if put in front of a judge.
Dont think that would put them off would you?Mike172 vs. UKCPM

Holy !!!! I didnt know they went IPC! Maybe they read my posts suggesting they switch lol. !!!!ers!
I got notification a week ago that I had a PCN coming my way from UKCPM, which finally arrived today...
So I've been on here to see if it's worth appealing and noticed your signature...very good!
Do you think now they've moved to IPC, that unless you have a solid argument, beating them is now near on impossible?
I've been reading up on posts which discuss the VAT invoice request but otherwise not sure where else to go...especially with IPC, IAS and Gladstones all in bed with each other.....0 -

Id appeal just because if it does end up in court you've got a leg to stand on then.
You appeal will most likely be turned down by IPC/IAS because thats the nature of the beast so to speak. A clever move by the Parking operators - I would have done the same, hopefully you understand the state of the industry from this forum but unfortunately no one cares..... probably because there is money involved. Appeal then if declined ignore all the DRP stuff until you get LBC.
Unsure on UKCPM's court record since moving to IPC but they didn't seem to do court unless it was for multiple unpaid tickets.
Far as I am concerned UKCPM just threw away their last shred of credibility by moving away from the BPA and are now truly nothing more than scammers.Mike172 vs. UKCPM

TomItw........ I'm in a battle with UK Car Park Management for two separately issued parking tickets on a private housing estate on which I live.
I'm encouraged by what's been written here in response to your situation.
This company are complete cowboys, so don't pay and pursue them through the courts if necessary.
Their ticketing operatives are paid commission for each ticket they issue.
I received a ticket on the 1st of December, with a valid permit in my windscreen, and there own date /time stamped evidence shows the permit. (Fools)
They simply try and weed out the weak and intimidate them into coughing up.
So much for the season of good will.0 -

You need to start your own thread. If you've only found MSE now and you are in court in 3 weeks against them, you are likely to lose...you can't just say 'it's a scam, look I have a permit' and win in small claims (unless they don't turn up). Please start a new thread telling us what your stated initial defence said - and have you yet sent your full defence or are you about to?
