Oh HH, what horrid people, words fail me. Hope you feel better soon.

I've had an upset tummy - well the toilet had been keeping me hostage yesterday but a bit better today although I didn't feel too good at work. Had school macaroni for lunch which seemed to do the trick, a bit of stodge to settle my tummy! I went to bed for an hour when I came home and had a little snooze!

Gers - I know this sounds silly but have you changed your toothbrush? I read somewhere a while ago that they harbour germs and can re-infect. Feel well soon.

    Cold and wet here.

HH - I've never heard of anyone curtsying at a coffin. Anyway, it should be your respects and not others. At least MIL is out of it and at peace.

Camelot - sorry to hear your having problems. Thank you did right with stodge. Sleep is also great. Thanks for the tip about toothbrushes, I changed the head about three weeks ago but will probably do so now again. Can't harm.

I've slept most of the day. I can hardly talk, am very Mae West (in a Glasgow kind of way) but at least it's stopped bring sore. Just got cough and cold to keep me occupied, I can do without talking!

I received some truly awful news earlier this evening about the eldest son of my nearest neighbour. I had to send a text as I haven't got a voice and felt so awful about it. Got a lovely reply but a card is needed as soon as I can get out, perhaps tomorrow.

Nigella is set to annoy me again, I'll need to switch off the TV!
