Appealing parking tickets on a lease hire car

Hi, I'm new to posting on forums but I need help regarding a few tickets I've received whilst working at a hospital. I have done some research on your website but it's a bit confusing especially because as my car is a lease hire. Unfortunately my lease company have paid for a ticket which they will bill me for including admin fee. Can anyone help me??

    First and most important question:
What are the exact word used in the terms and conditions regarding parking charges/fines/penalties etc. the exact words - if the terms and conditions are availabe online then pits a 'broken' link iie instead of http://www.http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/ you would post w w w. /forums.moneysavingexpert.com/Secondly who issued the original parking tickets?

  • Hi thanks for the quick response..
Original ticket is from Vinci Park services UK Ltd. They've sent me a parking charges notice headed PCN admin centre.
  • My lease company have sent me an invoice calling these parking notices Motoring offences/Fines issued by Zzps Ltd.

Which they are not, so they've got that wrong for a start (which is advantageous to you). However you MUST answer Half_Way's question - the EXACT wording of the lease agreement is crucial to be able to provide you the correct way forward.
  • I will post the exact wording soon as I find the agreement but can anyone advise me on what I should write to Zzps. I've got 3 tickets in total. The second letter from Zzps Ltd states the clients name as Indigo Park services UK Ltd. Are they all one company?
  • Also the lease company have sent me a statement of the fine they paid, but they have paid the wrong ticket. The first ticket I received has gone up to £90. On the lease statement I received they've referenced the second ticket.

  • The exact wording on the terms and conditions state :
You must pay all fees, fines (including all speeding, parking and any traffic congestion charge fines) and other sums and meet all liabilities arising from your possession or use of the goods. We may charge you £25 for each demand that is referred or sent to us. If you do not pay or do anything required of you we may do it and charge you. If we do this we may charge you a further £25 for each charge that we pay.

And another extremly important thing NEVER EVER refer to these invoices as fines especialy when dealing with a lease/hide company.
