I do classes and stand right at the front because I would rather not have anyone in front of me. I dont care who is watching me but I would be a bit freaked out by someone commenting on my bum (especially if it was a bloke).

A lot of women are really bothered about being watched in the classes I do and try to get as far to the back as possible. I can understand this, you go there to exercise, not to be gawped at and most of us dont look our best when we are all hot and sweaty.
yes I had to do spinning behind someone the other day it was awful.

why? because the girl was using practically no resistance so it was 'wobble wobble wobble' for an HOUR!!!!!!!!

You should take a look at this thread...

Some posters on there definitely don't want to be talked to!

it usually just happens. I don't go looking for people to talk to. You just tend to meet likeminded people if you go at the right time. Saying that i avoid peak times. They just suck. It's like a WWE royal rumble in the weights section.

In my experience it's usually the cardio areas that are full of anti-social people.

I often get watched especially when pushing it very hard.
I can lift harder & heavier than most people so it gets attention.

In between sets I can be casually watching other people. some times it comes in useful as people get stuck eg on the bench press so you get them out of trouble.
