Hi
My mum has been using my old HTC but due to her arthritis she struggles to switch it on.
Can anybody recommend any senior friendly smartphones?
I'm hoping to get a deal on black friday.
She's currently payg on Orange.
Thanks!

    Using for what exactly?

What exactly problem is it that a 'senior friendly' phone is supposed to solve?

The only smartphone I know that is apparently "senior friendly" is Doro Liberto® 820 Mini

    Costs ~£100
Also, have a look at LG Wine Smart - a flipping nostalgic Android phone
You can find it for ~£130+, but from not very reputable retailers.WineSmart-Press-01-970-80.jpg

I think the OP's problem is that many smartphones require quite a hard sustained press on the power button to start them up. Assuming ready access to charging facilities, why not just leave the phone on 24/7, and set to silent during sleeping hours?
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    Sustained, but not hard really.
LG G2 is a unique phone with power and volume buttons located on the back:

Does she actually want or need a smartphone?
