Has anyone had their letter saying when it will go into the bank yet?

Ours is the first one this year. My husband applied several months ago, and it was all set up, but he hasn't received a letter yet.

right in time for Christmas, the amount of people that don't use for heat
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

    + Sheffield Lad.

Its unlikely anyone born on or before 5 January 1953 managed to get a feebie they have not already paid for many thousands of time over in the last 60-80 years or so. I've no idea what % of refuseniks get the allowance but as its almost all of the above age group and designated by legislation as fuel poor [pension credit] it will be very very few. Have a nice xmas chanz4. Anyone reading this wanting to spend your WFA on your grandkids or extra food next month feel free to do so knowing the money that you mis-used from your WFA can be used for fuel later when its bitterly cold.

Still waiting for mine and is usually in the bank by now. I normally put this payment to one side and this pays for the coal for the winter. Unlike some who say it pays towards the grand children presents. Also looking forward to my £10 Christmas bonus and this will go towards my charity.

You will soon know when it`s being paid by the 25% off 6 bottles of wine sales in the supermarkets.
