We have a broken bridge :(

Had a spendy day today getting in supplies for the weekend and beyond, as about to be battered by another storm  and have battened down the hatches for the weekend.

We will have to play games or something ;) as definitely not going out anywhere until Monday.

Hope you all have a super Saturday

  • Good morning Igor! How were rehearsals last night?
    What!!!!!!!!
Mrs Doyle and Hubert have been suspended over the stage all night because your 'easy to use/bought off t'internet' pulley system has inexplicably gone all fubar....OMG....
Well I see that Hubert is a bawling, gibbering wreck, which means that he's holding up pretty well....Thank goodness that his extra strength nappy is holding up well.
Mrs Doyle however, she's the one I'm worried about. She doesn't cope well being separated from the tea pot for very long....

No we can't just cut them down, stupid boy.

    Glad you're feeling better.

Good morning NSD gang, cold and windy in the Land of Nargle so hopefully another NSD should be forthcoming.

Pull yourself together, Igor, we will have more flying practice tonight before the main rehearsal. Tonight we are doing the Dame' s scene, where a lot of slapstick comedy goes on. We will have the pirate cook making a special cake for Captain Hook' s birthday, and she (Hubert) will be ably assisted by Mr Smee ( that's you, Igor). Prepare to be covered with eggs, flour etc.

In the actual show you will then have around 60 seconds to change into your costume as the Princess Tiger Lily. I think we may have to chuck you out the back, hose you down and get the gang working on you with a couple of Brillo pads. Then a quick cozzie change and makeup application and voila! Red Indian princess ready to enter stage left.

Wonder if we can fit in a rousing pirate drinking song to fill in the time? I am sure the gang will be up for it.....

Successfully avoided the spendy demons today so now here's NSD number 2 for the Cauldron of Doom!

    Well done Nargle! :j:j

I bought two hair products that weren't budgeted for,so not an nsd for me.
  • Now,who would like to explain to me how we are going to pay for the crane we had to hire to rescue a gibbering Hubert and Mrs Doyle from their very traumatic overnight stay inspecting the rafters?

    Igor,I blame you....
  • We have a grand total of 31 nsds bubbling away in the cauldron, and, with 15 active participants, that means that we have an average of 2 nsds apiece!!! :j:j:j
