Hi,

I have no idea who or what SCS is, or any idea of its content.
You need to give us more information before anyone can give you an answer.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
Hi
I am trying to copy the photo of the letter received but it is not allowing the url. Help please. Thanks.0 -
This letter is from small claims court, SCS solicitors. The contravention was not parking in the bay. And the amount is £160.0

The letter must either be from the small claims court, or from a solicitor. It can't be both.
Please be more precise.
Scan and upload the (redacted) document on to a web hosting site such as tinypic or photobucket.
Post the URL here but change http to hxxp and someone here will conver it for you.
Did you receive anything from the parking company before this letter?
What is the name of the parking company?
When did the alleged event occur?
You should read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES as well. This will give you a lot of information but we need a lot more from you first.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping to post the image immediately after my initial post, didn't think it would be this difficult. hxxp instead of http worked. Thanks.0

Have you had several letters from UKPC? Have you ignored them? Did was the car parked there? Have you read the stickies?
It would help your cause it you were more forthcoming, my crystal ball is at the menders. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
I don't know whether the image link is working.
The incident happened in May 2015 and initially we got letter from DCN and then from the debt recovery plus. Now from a solicitor.
The letter from the small claims solicitors says that they act for UK parking control, and instructed to recover for the outstanding amount incurred for not parking within bay markings, not parked correctly within the markings of the bay or space.
They say that I have failed to clear the balance despite several letters, I have to pay in 14 day, otherwise UK parking control ltd May issue legal proceedings against me and obtain a county court judgement for e sums owed and for legal costs. It is for £160.
They also say that I the event that a judgement is attained against me and payment isn't made they will consider enforcement options which shall result in further legal costs including but not limited to instruct enforcement officers to attend my address and remove goods to the value of the debt and costs owed. Or to deduct from my wage through an attachment order.
They also say- at this stage do not contact small claims solicitors. Contact debt recovery plus.
I never replied to their previous mails and wondering to do the same for this letter. Or should I take this seriously! Please suggest. Many thanks.0 -
What did you make of the advice in the Newbies Sticky?
As general advice, Ignoring stopped being a valid option for dealing with many PPCs back in 2012.
You can ignore DRP as they have no authority to do anything against you but you should now be pursuing other options to turn-off UKPC instead as they still have several years to bring an action against you.0
