EE retention offers, any experience?

My one-year with EE expires next month and while I don't want the hassle of changing providers, if it means saving £100+ then I'll go for it. Has anyone had experience of EE's offers to retain customers when you phone them to talk about leaving?

What might I expect from them? I think I will be reverting to something roughly around £10/month + LR.

I changed this week to BT. The next day EE called and offered to drop my broadband and calls down to £23. This was from £30. I advised as BT was £27.99 with £100 Quidco and £100 Sainsburys voucher that they couldn't tempt me to stay.

EE are being very stubborn on Retentions deals at present. I'm beginning to regret cancelling my 3 One Plan !

My contract for home broadband and line rental comes to a end mid Feb. I phoned EE to ask what they could do for me and I was offered £14.50 a month to include line rental, weekend calls and unlimited broadband. This was a good deal for me as I rarely make calls from the landline.

I got some kind of a reduction from them on my last renewal.

However, now they're (soon to be) part of BT, I think I'll be moving elsewhere regardless.

Probably the same with my mobile phones too.
