This thread: forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?p=69572671 is pointing to the OPs own website - the domain is registered to him and he even tried to get people to answer a survey about it in Spetember: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5066277
SPCome on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0 -

come on MSE, this one and their posts are still there nearly 4 hours after reporting
No wonder the spammers see this forum as an easy target!0 -
Allegedly you have to report every post singly, otherwise the forumteam can't take action.
I'm not going to run around doing that, and the idea that you should is just moronic.
I've reported the black magic spammer's userames, and if the forumteam choose to not bother, then their call.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I also find it very odd that the forumteam don't bother to do the basic check I do every morning or sometimes in the day if I am here.
- Check the RSS feed for obvious spam threads. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/external.php?type=RSS2 especially on the top money boards that spammers tend to go to first.
- Check latest threads, excluding a few boards like comps that get a lot: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/search.php?do=getdaily&&sortby=threadstart&sortorder=descending&exclude=72,270,163
- Run a script on new users to show up obvious spammers. I run one occasionally in the morning, and it reveals a fair few.

I do the same, always first thing in the morning then at regular intervals throughout the day/evening.

not so much can't as won't, I think.
Like you, I have neither the time or inclination to list every post that the spammers make - particularly as the perpetrator is often left to continue to post prolifically for ages despite being reported promptly by us.0 -

That is true. Given a link to a poster's profile, I can - when it works - find their posts with one or two clicks.
To claim that this is not possible, or is too much effort, is just absurd.
Also given the frequent delay between us reporting things and those reports being read and acted upon, sometimes days, then just reporting posts is a waste of my time and theirs, as there may well be others posted afterwards that in the end have to be tracked down and dealt with.
Sometimes it does make sense to report an individual post when it is clear it's a one off or an abuse issue rather than spam, but for the spam that is rarely the case.Like you, I have neither the time or inclination to list every post that the spammers make - particularly as the perpetrator is often left to continue to post prolifically for ages despite being reported promptly by us.
Interesting, as I have been told that ALL "fellow BGs" are helping with the request to report individual spam posts. So seems that they are not telling me the truth on this.
I understand that they may be busy, stressed, under-resourced etc, but being ar-sey and unreasonable with BGs and others who are just trying to do their best is not helpful.
I should stress that by forumteam here I mean the contracted in 1st line, who as far as I understand are not direct MSE staff. The actual MSE staff who things may get escalated to in complicated issues are lovely without exception.
