Had a lovely run around on the moors today - was very bracing! And a walk through the woods on the Solstice - seems to be turning into a tradition that one!

Feeling nice and relaxed and ready for Christmas. Think DS3 may have Chicken pox though! He's cheerful though and it seems to be mild so nothing to panic about.

Happy Christmas, lovely MFWers! Have a lovely rest! :xmastree::xmastree::xmastree:

Weird but mostly great Christmas. Great to have DH at home for it rather than fitting us in around a smelly retail job. Less great because unfortunately DS3 got Chicken Pox and also the flooding was quite difficult around here. Two family members (separate households) have had close shaves with water but thankfully it seems to be receding now (although it's also chucking it down as I type....)

I've started a blog and my aim for the year is to earn £1000 from it. Not sure how this will happen - that's the fun! My challenge for 2015 was to complete 400 hours of tuition - as of this afternoon when I taught my last lesson of the year I've done 437. I'm really pleased with this and would like to aim for 500 in 2016.

Will update more in a bit

Sorry about the interuption - blumming children!

Right, goals for 2016 are roughly as follows
    - As said above, make £1000 blogging. Scary as I have no idea how!
    - Complete 500 hours tuition - I'm actually gonna need to start finding students rather than waiting for them to come to me
    - Open a SIPP. If anyone would like to tell me which one please do so. I'm serious!
    - Finish off paying family loan - £5500 to go
    - Complete TEFL qualification
    - Complete a big physical challenge in honour of my scary birthday with a zero in it later in the year. I'm thinking along the lines of a Rapha 100 mile bike ride in July

Things feel as though they're getting easier. I'm really pleased to have finished breast-feeding. It's great that he comes to me for a cuddle now rather than a wrestling match and I love reading him bedtime stories rather than just feeding for ages and ages. Massive bonus is he's also sleeping through the night :j:j:jDS2 is starting to calm down a bit too. He's definitely one of those 'active' types and really needs lots and lots of fresh air and exercise but once he's had that he's really loving and kind. DS1 is also coming out of the other side of the teenage doldrums too, thank goodness. There's still a lot of work to do on the relationship between DS1 & 2 but I guess they'll get there.

Overall, I have a very good feeling about 2016 - I think it may well be our year!:D
