Re: breastfeeding, DS was 27 months and showing no signs of self weaning so I had to persuade him. Meant I barely sat down as that was when he took his chance! It was difficult on both sides but the time was right for us. You breastfeeding from the heart so you will know when. It's the end of your journey.

I'm impressed that you managed to BF for so long Courgette. Mrs E managed 5 weeks, but it was tortuous for her, DD never quite figured it out despite Mrs E's loving patience and million and one ways to encourage her.
Only one jumper? I'm clearly overdoing it, was in short sleeves last night and felt toasty0 -
I b/f no 3 until he was 2y and 10m - and only gave up because I was pg with no 4 and had to havea CVS (because I had high indicators for Downs) and needed bed rest for 48 hours. It was hard - and emotional. I didn't learn, though - I fed no 4 until the same age - finally saying enough was enough when he would run up to me in the school playground or wherever and try and lift my top up, which fellow mums generally found amusing
I did miss it, though - it was very much a putting one of the last things of babyhood behind me. You've done brilliantly - and you know when the time is right for you to stop

Thanks everyone. It's been a hormonal few days but we might just possibly be starting to see the other side. DS3 only asked for milk a couple of times today which is a big improvement and went to bed without asking for it at all. I've been taking it steady though and even postponed a couple of tuitions on Thursday as I felt so wrung out with it all. Fear not, one has been caught up with, the other is tomorrow!
Got the Christmas tree up yesterday and have spent most of the day defending it from a toddler. We didn't have one at all last year due to toddler related issues so I'm really glad to have it. It wasn't cheap but it's something I really love so it's worth it to me. Have also picked some holly and ivy from the garden and brightened the place up with that. Probably should start on the Christmas shopping now though!Updating soon...0 -

Re. the lottery - do you have some Premium Bonds? At least then you have the chance of winning, but still get your money back!
Have had some for about a decade. Have never won a single penny on them!!! Although it is only £100 so maybe that's why....Updating soon...0 -

Hello, I've found you! I was getting very confused with the different names (it really doesn't take much with me!!). Have just caught up and looking forward to staying that way!
Like the name, like you I find it hard to know exactly how to label my focus at the moment, but no one can deny that you have options (and confidence ... hope) with this kind of approach.
I am another one who likes reading frugalwoods, although I also find them a little smug, I like the positivity as it inspires me.
Not as much as reading your "ramblings" though my dear...great to have you back x15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j
