As well as what George says, are you certain that you have got the same phone back?
For example, is the IEMI number the same?0 -
I can't be 100% sure , i refused the delivery .
i spoke on the phone m8.
He was ok on phone just said that , he'll look at listing and the faults i put down.
But agreed about him taking apart phone
I've never taken phone apart so, can't be sure....
Thanks for all the advice , think i'll just let eBay deal with him0 -
Earlier you said:
Now you say:But instead of contacting me when these faults arose, he took it to a shop and got them to take it apart etc .
Did you give him permission to get the phone dismantled or not?But agreed about him taking apart phone
I'm not sure how ebay will treat a refused return.i refused the delivery .0 -
If you open a case-aren't you asked to accept a return? Where are you with the case?0
-
opps meant to say i didn't agreed to him taking apart phone.... The Man at eBay agreed that he shouldn't be opening phone unless i allow it
When he messaged me thru eBay , i said i wasn't accepting returns until eBay had made a decision.
He opened a case , we had 8 days from the 18th Nov to come to an agreement before eBay made a decision0 -
Have you responded in the case?0
-
Yes..
Just said
a: Sold as Listed "For Parts Not Working"
b: Im more than happy for Ebay to make a decision on this case
c: I will not accept returns until eBay have made a decision.
d: I never gave permission for phone to be taken apart
e: Phone was listed to best of my knowledge
These are in no order...
Thanks for all the help0 -
This would make more sense in the ebay board as you will get more responses.
However, if ebay decide in favour of the buyer they will get a refund as a refused return satisfies the return requirement.
The issue with selling for parts or repairs is that to be safe that is all a seller should state, ie it is not working. The moment other infois supplied that implies parts do work, or only certain faults were found - which leaves a seller open to a SNAD claim.
