No idea how you'd send anything to the claimant (recorded delivery or otherwise) if they're dissolved, but I guess you were just acting on the judges instructions. And why not?

I think the idea is to send it to the address of the company then wait for it to be sent back to sender address (myself) sign for it, then it has a legitimate date of issue that it was initially posted and signed for on delivery back to myself, so it is all water tight evidence of sending and no reply, for the hearing. But i do not know I could be wrong.

Yes, sounds like it's just to demonstrate that you tried. Always follow the judge's instructions!!

  • Quick update. I just got the defense I sent recorded special delivery back off royal mail. The addressee gone away box ticked, on reason for return to sender.

Today and I sent them a photograph via email of the receipt with the Royal Mail tracker number on it and a photograph of the returned envelop. So I am just waiting for a reply. I updated my credit report today and the CCJ has gone.

I now have 999 Experian Credit score and I can not seem to update my credit score on Equifax it keeps declining my bank details. So I do not know what that would have increased to, yet.
