    Another one here who thinks that's very cheap. We had our bathroom re-done earlier this year, and probably spent double that in total for fully tiled with new sanitaryware, but keeping the old towel radiator, lights. I spent months sourcing the bits I wanted at good prices (decent porcelain tiles in the sale etc.).

    The cost of labour alone was roughly what your mum has been quoted, although it did involve a certain amount of fiddling about e.g. turning the door round.

    Ask for the quote to be broken down in detail so Dad can see what he is (maybe) paying for, no good trying to second guess it.
