So many (me) go in debt every year at Christmas. It's wonderful to think that won't (may not) happen this year. I have have never set a budget for how much I will spend.
It is a very satisfying feeling Mila and it makes Christmas spending on gifts and food so much more enjoyable;)

I'm not local to them so doing it 100 miles away is difficult to say the least! They're both fine now thank goodness. :j
Glad to hear they are both on the mend, it is a worry when you are far away. My parents are elderly and I used to work away a lot and it was a constant worry. I changed jobs so I could stay closer to home.

No progress since I last checked in but wanted to say hi and will try to boost my total so I have something to report soon.
Karenccs I know what this situation is like - I live about 150 miles from my elderly parents - my mum is in a nursing home now, my dad cared for her at home for a long time but now lives on his own and I go down as often as I can to help. xx£10 a day extra in May '18[B]£35/310[
