I do mine a bit differently, by counting all my freebies: boots advantage, tesco and nectar, top cash back, pinecone surveys and £2 coins, so apart from the coins Xmas is free

Who knows why it's so much easier to put money into a tin than it is to save in a bank but it's really helping me to think about the money I spend thoughtlessly in vending machines etc.

I agree with you re: putting my money in a tin, I'm never tempted to raid my tin whereas if I have money in a savings account and need something then I will draw it out:o

Ellie, I am not sure if I updated you for last month or not? I have now put February's £29 away, so I now have a total of £91.

I am slowly getting back into a routine since our move last year, so I will try and pop in more frequently.

January payday today, so I've just transferred £58 for February. My new total is £182, please could you update my target to £732. I don't post much, but do always read, thank you for setting this up Ellie, I'm so excited at having money to spend on Christmas!!!!
